Our Story
Michael and Linda McCourt, along with Cacahuate, have spent seasons soaking up the vibrant atmosphere of Todos Santos. Slowly but surely, the local music scene captured their hearts. It wasn't just the rhythm; it was the incredibly passionate musicians who play here purely for the joy of sharing their craft, rather than for the spotlight.
They simply couldn't keep this hidden gem to themselves. They wanted everyone to experience the magic, whether they are locals, newcomers, or visitors passing through. The music was already there, lighting up the town every night. All it needed was a welcoming front door.
That's exactly why they created La Escena. It's a completely free, effortless way to find out who's playing and where. No sign-ups or algorithms, just a genuine effort to connect these hardworking artists with the enthusiastic audiences they truly deserve.

Michael has spent years finding himself ever more captivated by Todos Santos: its warm people, its easygoing pace, and most importantly, its soul-stirring music.
Linda shares this deep-rooted love. If there's a live show happening tonight, you can bet she's already there in the crowd.
Who could forget Peanut (Cacahuate).... This little kitty has been to more gigs than most people. You'll likely spot her right in the front row, taking it all in.
